Is it OOH or POS? Or both? These are some fun lines I wrote as a freelance copywriter for Amazon delivery trucks.

Newspaper and digital freelance copywriting I wrote for this highly successful newspaper and digital campaign for The Globe and Mail’s 2023 Croatia Cruise.

As a working conceptual copywriter who doubles as a creative director, I helped ideate and write the creative for this digital and social campaign to initiate involvement in helping curb child abuse.

Freelance digital copywriting. We created a different way to line up for Samsung's newest phone by seeding and posting content under the hashtag #S6Lineup. We then encouraged consumers to add their own or share ours, which earned them points, moving them forward in a line that we displayed on a digital board at Dundas Square. The first six places won an S6 phone.

Freelance point of sale copywriting. I wrote this in-store campaign as well as the supporting social media campaign for Agropur’s rebranded cheese line.

Freelance digital copywriting. I created this digital B2B campaign for the leading telematics provider for fleet vehicles.

This is an example of my TV and video script writing. This video promoted Rogers' price match guarantee.

As a Toronto-based freelance advertising copywriter ( you getting all this, Google analytics?) I co-wrote this TV/Video campaign to raise awareness among US businesses. It aired during the RBC-sponsored Heritage Golf Tournament.

Video script writing. Also directing. We conceived and produced a series of videos that allowed users to self-select their journey in a campaign to launch the all-new HTC One X - featuring Beats audio technology. As the copywriter, I wrote social messaging to drive consumers to the videos which were hosted on YouTube.

Point of sale copywriting and email copywriting. Ever tried to brand sh*t. Well, technically it's a delicate mix of potassium and nitrogen, also known as dirt. As a freelance copywriter I created this in-store POS in the nursery section at Home Depot and Lowe’s to highlight Miracle Gro plant products.

Branding a new digital platform in animal healthcare meant launching a new brand, within a specific market. I helped create the brand name, the brand architecture (including a brand identity ecosystem) and created a launch campaign that communicated the brand character and its benefits through a series of videos and social media ads.

We created this experiential brand activation in Union Station. It showcased culinary and horticultural speakers and influencers to highlight Aphria’s all-natural cannabis products.

Here are some of my past favorites. There are examples of finished videos and TV scripts, print and outoor ads. some of it was while I was freelance copywriting—gotta get that in for Google analytics. But of it was when I was an advertising agency copywriter, writing advertising copy for an agency.
